No performance required. We focus on real human interaction and the quiet clarity that comes from being fully present.

ACTIONABLE OUTPUT

You won't leave with more quotes. You'll leave with one concrete purpose and one realistic action step.

WHAT WILL YOU EXPIRIENCE

Mindfulness through Humor

Learn to use the lens of 'lighthearted awareness' to observe your thoughts without being consumed by them.

Awareness of Self-Pressure

Compassion in Mistakes

Shift from self-criticism to a gentle, objective curiosity when things don't go as planned.

Practical Inner Resources

Practical resources to handle your specific self-sabotage patterns.

Is this for you?

We prioritize a safe and aligned space for all participants

This is for you if:

You are a someone who values self-development but feels "stuck."

You are ready to move from intellectual understanding to physical experience.

You appreciate honest, grounded approaches over spiritual hype.

You are willing to be curious and present for 3 hours.

This is NOT for you if:

You are looking for a stand-up comedy show or entertainment.

You want more motivational quotes or passive lectures.

You prefer "guru-style" teaching or spiritual clichés

You are not willing to step into a space of experiential learning.

Why this approach works

Intellectual understanding is rarely enough to change behavior. Change happens when you feel the difference in your body and reconnect with your essence.

THE FACILITATOR

Monica Santos

Monica Santos is the founder of Big Smiles, the creator and facilitator of Humor for Life and and a professional healthcare clown specialized in paediatric oncology and palliative care settings.

Before fully dedicating herself to accompany through humor and emotional support, she worked for several years in the corporate world and banking, experiencing first-hand the stress, anxiety, and disconnection that often come with working as an employee, and the day a day.

That journey became the starting point of a deep life change. Monica chose to listen to what had already been present in her life: humor as a tool for care, presence, and transformation.

She left Spain, left the banking sector, and dared to turn into a profession what had once been a voluntary calling: becoming a healthcare clown.

For more than ten years, she has worked in highly vulnerable contexts, accompanying children, families, and healthcare professionals in pediatric oncology, palliative care, intellectual disability, and geriatric settings.

Her path has required continuous training, learning new cultures and languages, making mistakes, falling down, and standing back up again and again.

Today, her work brings together lived experience and professional practice to support others in switching off the busy mind, reconnecting with the body, emotions, and play, and remembering something essential: we don’t need to be perfect: we need to be authentic.

She continues to learn every day, but above all, she continues to laugh, enjoy life, and trust in the power of humor that truly cares.

TESTIMONIALS

"Monica is very attuned to group dynamics. She really encourages presence and body awareness. While humour was an important element, she was open and accepting of emotions.

The workshop is designed in a manner to hold space for all parts that may reveal themselves in complex situations of group dynamics and Monica is gently there to hold your hand and reflect what is happening back to you.

I couldn't thing of a more playful way to be".

Latika k Suryavanshi

clinical psicologist

"it is a unique, on-of-a_kind workshop, where we don't know what to expect but it open up a whole new experience for us. It unlocks something within and is actually the most joyous class I've ever attended.

I would especially recommend it to working professionals because we spend too much time living in the head and not really feeling alive. It's much needed!
